Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design [UCEED] is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IIT Bombay. UCEED is conducted for admission to Bachelor in Design [B.Des] course in IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur and other IITs..Â
UCEED exam 2023 will be conducted in 24 cities across the country. The exam of UCEED is conducted once a year in two parts - Part A and Part B. According to the exam pattern of UCEED, Part A will be conducted in computer-based mode and Part B will be conducted in the pen-and-paper mode for a collective duration of three hours.Â

UCEED 2023 Eligibility Criteria
There are certain prerequisites that candidates need to fulfill to be eligible for applying for UCEED exam 2023. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria thoroughly to ensure that they fulfill all the requirements as informed by the exam conducting authority. Candidates can check below for the eligibility criteria of UCEED 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for UCEED 2023 Application
- Date of birth - To be eligible for UCEED 2023, candidates belonging to the open or OBC-NCL category should be born on or after October 1, 1998. Those candidates belonging to SC, ST, or PWD categories must be born on or after October 1, 1993.
- Maximum number of attempts - UCEED 2023 aspiring candidates can only be two times in consecutive years.
- Educational Qualification - For eligibility in UCEED 2023 aspiring candidates from all/any streams must have passed the class 12th examination or equivalent in the year 2022 or will be appearing in 2023. Those candidates who have passed the examination in 2021 or before are not eligible for the UCEED 2023 examination.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Des course after UCEED Examination
- All the above-mentioned requirements are to be fulfilled by the candidates.
- They must obtain qualifying marks in the UCEED exam 2023.
- Candidates from the science stream with physics, chemistry, and math, as subjects are eligible to apply for admission to IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates from any other stream, that is science without physics, chemistry or math, commerce, arts, or humanities, are eligible to apply to only IIT Bombay, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
UCEED Application Process 2023
Aspiring candidates must note the process to fill out the application form for UCEED 2023 exam. For convenience, we have listed the same below.
- Candidates must fill UCEED 2023 application form within the given dates through the online portal www.uceed.iitb.ac.in.
- The details required for the registration of candidates include name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number.
- On completing the registration process candidates will have to next fill in their personal and academic details in UCEED application form 2023. Â They also have to mention three choices for the UCEED exam center.
- Candidates need to pay the fee through online mode which is through net banking, debit, and credit card
Documents Required to Fill UCEED 2023 Application Form
- Recent colored photograph
- Certificate from school/college principal, if they are appearing in 2023
- Qualifying examination certificate if appeared in 2022 or before
- Date of birth proof, such as passport, SSC certificate, or birth certificate
- A scanned copy of the candidate's full signature on the white sheet/paper
UCEED Admit Card 2023
The exam conducting authority will issue UCEED 2023 admit card on January 13, 2023. Candidates are required to download the admit card of UCEED in the given timeline and verify all the details mentioned in the same. UCEED Result 2023
IIT Â Bombay will declare UCEED 2023 result on the aforementioned date in online mode. Candidates will be required to enter their login credentials, which are their email ID and password in the Candidate Portal to access the result of UCEED. The exam conducting authority will release UCEED result 2023 in the form of a scorecard and made available for download at uceed.iitb.ac.in and will be valid for a period of one year.Â
